UDUPI: A fire broke out at the Dhanvantri Hospital near Doddanagudde here on Monday morning. It is suspected that the fire was caused due to an electrical short circuit.

Luckily, there were no patients in the hospital at that time since some renovation work was going on. A hospital worker first noticed the fire on an upper floor and two fire tenders were called in to put out the blaze.
