BENGALURU: An FIR was registered against Ricky Rai, son of former underworld don and real estate baron Muthappa Rai, on the order of the 8th ACCM court, in a bar fight case.
The FIR was filed in connection with a fight which broke out between Ricky and his associates, and Srinivas Naidu in a bar and restaurant on Richmond Road two months ago. Ricky and his associates allegedly assaulted realtor and businessman Srinivas Naidu and used abusive words. Rai also threatened Naidu through his personal lawyer and Naidu alleged that Rai threatened him of life if he informed the police.
The incident occurred on May 26 and a case was registered by Ricky Rai’s car driver Somashekhar against four people, including Srinivas Naidu, alleging that Ricky Rai was assaulted. The complaint was lodged as a counter to Naidu’s complaint. Now, an FIR has been registered at the Cubbon Park police station against Ricky Rai.
