SHIVAMOGGA: The Kote police have filed an FIR against Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur after district Congress president H S Sundresh lodged a formal complaint on behalf of political analyst Tehseen Poonawala.
Sundresh lodged the complaint against Sadhvi Pragya for her recent comment which Poonawala had said would create social disharmony. The complaint was lodged at the Deputy SP’s office. Sundaresh said the Poonawala cannot visit Shivamogga from Delhi and sought to file the complaint on his behalf.
At a recent event, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur had advised all women to keep their kitchen knives sharp while talking about love jihad, drawing criticism from various quarters.
