FIR filed against pub owned by Virat Kohli for remaining open beyond stipulated hours

BENGALURU: An FIR was registered against  One8 Commune, a pub owned by star India batter Virat Kohli, for playing loud music and remaining open beyond permissible time limit. The pub is located on Kasturba Road above Tonique.

The pub was reportedly open till 1.20 am on July 6, beyond permissible hours, and the staff was present during the raid by the police. A case has been filed at Cubbon Park police station.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Shekhar H Tekkannavar said, “We have booked around 3-4 pubs for remaining open till 1.30 am last night. We received complaints of loud music being played. Pubs are allowed to remain open only till 1 am and not beyond that.”
