BENGALURU: An FIR has been filed against Varun Mallik, a Income Tax department officer, at the Chennamanakere Achukattu police station for allegedly harassing a female lawyer, making lewd remarks, and assaulting her.
The police had issued a notice to the accused, but he failed to respond to it. Now the police have issued a second notice to the official and further steps will be taken based on his response.
