CHAMARAJANAGAR: A Facebook page in the name of Sri Male Mahadeshwara Swamy has been hacked and defaced with obscene content. Shockingly, the police have been quite callous about the incident.
The Facebook page was created by one Sanjay of Kollegal in 2013 and content related to Lord Male Mahadeshwara, puja rituals and such other stuff was being posted there. The page has about 17,000 followers.
However, the page has been hacked and an obscene video was posted in the FB Story section. As soon as he found out about the defacement of the page, Sanjay lodged a complaint with the Chamarajanagar CEN police.
But shockingly, the police reportedly advised him to get 30 people to report the incident to Facebook and have not pursued the case.
