MANDYA: A farmer lost his fingers after his left hand got stuck in a fodder thresher at Bolamaranahalli in KR Pet taluk on Sunday. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mysuru.
The farmer Devanath, was working on the fodder thresher when his hand accidentally got stuck in the machine. Devanath was cutting jowar stalks to prepare fodder for his cattle.
Villagers had a tough time extricating Devanath’s hand from the threshing machine. He was then rushed to hospital, but he lost his left fingers. He is now recovering in hospital.
