SHIVAMOGGA: Former MLA L T Thimmappa Hegde (94) passed away at his residence Madasur village near Lingadahalli in Sagar taluk due to age-related illnesses on Tuesday morning.
L T Thimmappa was elected MLA from Sagar Assembly constituency for two terms, but was defeated in 1999, when he had contested from the BJP. He was expert in the cooperative sector as well. He is survived by wife Savitramma and two sons.
