BENGALURU: An engineering student was stabbed to death in a scuffle between two groups during a college fest in Bagalur police limits on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Bhaskar Jetty (22). A native of Gujarat, he was a mechanical engineering student in a private college.
According to the police, two groups got into a fight between over a trivial reason and one of the other group stabbed Bhaskar with a knife.
A case has been registered at the Bagalur police station and CCTV footage from the college is being checked. Police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the act.
