The electric scooter and the truck which were gutted.

BIDAR, BALLARI, KALABURAGI: An electric scooter, a truck and a Nandini milk parlour were burnt in separate cases since Tuesday night.

An electric scooter suddenly caught fire even as it was moving, in Bhalki town on Wednesday. The rider, who noticed the fire, left the scooter on the road and saved himself. The vehicle was registered to one Ashok Deshpande.

A truck carrying paddy hay caught fire after it came in contact with a live power line nera Guttinagur village in Kurugod taluk in Bagalkot district. As soon as fire broke out, the driver showed presence of mind and drove the truck outside the village.

The truck carrying hay was completely gutted.

The Fire and Emergency Services personnel from Kurugod arrived at the scene and put out the fire, but the truck and the hay were completely gutted.

A Nandini milk booth caught fire due to an electrical short circuit.

In Kalaburagi, a fire broke out at a Nandini milk parlour near NV College on Tuesday night, suspectedly due to an electrical short circuit. The parlour belongs to one Basavaraj Bennur and the loss was estimated at around Rs 2 lakh.
