BENGALURU: An elderly man was arrested for sexually harassing a neighbour woman by behaving indecently after unzipping his pants. The incident took place under Annapoorneshwari Nagar police limits.
The elderly man gestured at the woman as if unzipping his pants and his act was captured on CCTV camera. The victim also recorded the indecent behavior on her mobile phone.
The woman, a relative of a well-known journalist, lives in a rented house in Nisarga Layout, Annapoorneshwari Nagar. Her neighbor Krishnamurthy Gowda used to park his vehicles on the road itself. He also kept about three to four dogs in a dog house in front of his house.
Whenever the woman came by cab, the road would be blocked and she would have to walk home every day. The GBA officials came and warned that this is a public road and it should not be done. For this reason, elderly man Krishnamurthy Gowda behaved indecently with the woman.
The woman filed a complaint in connection with the incident at Annapoorneshwari Nagar police station. The police registered the complaint and arrested the elderly man.
