Eight-year-old boy killed, 6 injured as truck collide with bus

The KKRTC bus was heading towards Bidar when the accident occurred.

BIDAR: An eight-year-old boy was killed on the spot while six others were injured after a bus collided with a truck near Halaburga in Bhalki taluk on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Roshan Naresh Jadhav of Hyderabad.

The injured passengers were shifted to a hospital.

The accident occurred near a petrol bunk on the outskirts of Halaburga. The Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) bus was plying on the Bhalki-Bidar-Hyderabad route when the truck coming from Bidar crashed into it on the right side. All the injured were shifted to a hospital.

The Dhannura police visited the spot and registered a case.
