ED raids Congress leader Bharat Reddy’s residences and office, relative’s houses too

BALLARI, BENGALURU: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) simultaneously raided 13 locations, including the house, office of Ballari City Congress MLA Bharath Reddy, and also his relatives houses over allegations of money laundering.

The officers from Bengaluru raided the residences and offices of Bharat Reddy, a former BUDA president, and N Pratap Reddy. Officials raided the house and office simultaneously and checked the documents.

The MLA’s father Suryanarayana Reddy, uncle Pratap Reddy and relative Satish Reddy’s houses and offices were also raided. Bharat Reddy’s family owns a granite business. The raids were conducted in Ballari, Bengaluru and Chennai.

The raid were conducted with the cooperation of CRPF security personnel. There were a large number of officials at the office of Raghavendra Enterprises at Gandhinagar in Ballari.
