ED probe reveals arrested Congress MLA Veerendra Pappi duped man of Rs 8 crore

BENGALURU: Congress MLA Veerendra Pappi, who has been accused of running a betting racket involving crores, has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate and has already spent three months in the central agency’s custody. However, the ED has now launched another probe against Veerendra Pappi.

K C Veerendra had allegedly cheated an out‑of‑state person of Rs 8 crore and the ED hase recorded the statement from the individual. After recording his statement, the individual filed a complaint with the central agency.

Now, the ED hase intensified the investigation on the same FIR and are preparing to take Veerendra Pappi into custody again for interrogation which could mean more trouble for the Congress MLA.
