BENGALURU: A 27-year-old techie, who is believed to have consumed excessive alcohol, died after he fell from the 33rd floor of an apartment building at Kodigehalli near KR Pura in the city around 6.45 am on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Dipanshu Sharma.
Dipanshu was partying with his friends in a room and went to the balcony to smoke a cigarette. At this time, he accidentally fell from the 33rd floor of the apartment and died. A case has been registered in KR Pura police station in connection with the incident.
