CHIKKABALLAPUR: A drunk man opened fire at his son with a countrymade gun after an altercation, leaving his seriously injured in the face and head, at Maralenahalli in Doddaballapur on Friday. The father Suresh (49) has since been arrested.
Suresh got into a heated argument with his son Harish (28) when he took his countrymade gun and shot his son in the head. Harish sustained serious injuries and was initially treated at a local hospital before being referred to Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment.
The incident took place in the Doddaballapur Rural police station limits in Bengaluru Rural district. Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO) visited the spot and collected evidence. Further investigation is under way.
