BELAGAVI: The police have tightened security after an anonymous caller threatened that blasts will be conducted at the Hindalga jail in Belagavi and the Parappana Agraha central prison in Bengaluru. The Belagavi Rural police are also trying to trace the caller.
After tracing the call, the police said the caller was from Bengaluru and had threatened DIGP (Prisons-North) T P Sesha. The caller also said blasts will be conducted at the two prisons.
Belagavi Rural police inspector Manjunath Hiremath visited Hindalga jail and collected information from the prison officials.
