BAGALKOT: Two drunk men got into a fight in a moving bus, leading to one of them falling into a roadside drain and losing his life. The incident occurred on Monday night on the Mudhol-Kukali road on the outskirts of Mudhol.
The deceased was identified as Pralhad Murigeppa (38) from Soragavi village in Mudhol taluk. The police had to use an excavator to bring up his body which was stuck in the slush in the drain.
The bus was on its way to Banahatti via Mudhol when two drunk men got into an argument. In the heat of the moment, the unidentified person pushed Pralhad from the moving bus, causing him to fall in the drain and die.
The Mudhol police visited the spot and are now on the lookout for the culprit.
