Drunk man falls to death from 3rd floor before New Year celebrations

BENGALURU: A 30-year-old man, who was drunk, died after falling from the third floor of a building at Kottigepalya in Kamakshipalya on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Bapi, hailing from Odisha. He was working in a carton boxes manufacturing factory.
Police sources said, “He made his way between two adjacent buildings through a window in his room. He lost balance while passing through the window as he was drunk at a New Year party. He may have lost balance and fallen”.

Bapi tried cross the bridge throw window and falls down.A case of unnatural death has been registered at Kamakshipalya police station.

A friend of Bapi said, “we were preparing to celebrate New Year but before that he died”.

We were preparing for it on the terrace. After work, he went  somewhere and came back to his room around 8.15 pm after drinking liquor. He kept saying ‘he is going’, but in a flash, he fell down when he was passing the building through the window. Some of us friends had brought a cake to celebrate New Year. We used to eat together every day. He was not in his senses while crossing the building”.
