BENGALURU: A man drowned while swimming near a waterfall after having drinks, at the popular tourist spot Mutyalamadu in Anekal taluk on the outskirts of the city on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Jothish Kumar, a resident of Jigani. He had come to Mutyalmadu with his two-year-old son on a two-wheeler.
It is alleged that, he went for swimming after having drinks and he drowned. Other tourists at the spot retrieved his body from the water, by that time he died. They then informed the local police who shifted the body to the hospital for post-mortem.
