BENGALURU: Actor Dhurva Sarja and the crew of the film ‘Martin’ were among the many passengers to have a lucky escape when the IndiGo flight they were travelling in from New Delhi to Srinagar experienced rough weather. The flight finally landed safely in Srinagar.
The IndiGo flight (6E6125) took off at 05.25 pm from New Delhi on Monday and faced rough weather enroute. According to some reports, the aircraft was unable to move against the strong storm. In a video doing the rounds, the passengers were seen reciting prayers.
The crew of ‘Martin’, which is in the last phase of shooting, were headed to Srinagar to film a song. In an Instagram post, Dhruva Sarja said, “YES, the pilot called it a MAY DAY! Facging death for the first time and coming back to life felt a sheer blessing of my PARENTS, my VIPs and my angel CHIRU. Hearing every passenger pray to their respective gods loudly for their lives in the flight was indeed a breath taking experience. As we landed back safely, the cheering crowed, tears of happiness and every passenger calling their loves ones was a sign of relief. This rebirth is a bigger reason to all of us to live life to the fullest. JAI ANJANEYA”, he signed off.
After they landed, Dhruva Sarja, in a video message, said, “This was the worst experience. I’d never had such a worst experience in my life. We want to thank God. Jai Anjaneya”. “We are safe, thanks to the pilot”, the other members of the crew added.
