MANGALURU: Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, arrived at the Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday enroute Kasargod in Kerala to participate in a private event.
Dhoni was received at the airport by physiotherapist and entrepreneur U T Ifthikar Ali, who is the brother of Congress MLA U T Khader. Dhoni proceeded to Kasargod under heavy security and was driven by Ifthikar Ali himself.
The Chennai Superkings captain was scheduled to take part in a book release programme at Kasargod. He was mobbed by fans as he exited the Mangaluru airport.
