BENGALURU: Director General and Inspector General of Police M A Saleem, has ordered review of LPG cylinder stocks and directed all police commissioners and SPs to inspect warehouses in their jurisdictions. He has also instructed police to check stock levels, daily dispatches, and documents.
The police commissioners and SPs have been told to inspect warehouses, verify stock, and report findings, monitor agencies with existing stock to prevent black marketing, take action against those selling stock on the black market, to sure smooth supply from warehouses, gather documents on stock levels, orders and delivery timelines.
The police will take strict action against those exploiting the situation. Inspections of godowns is already under way across Bengaluru and is expected to be conducted in other parts of the state over the next few days.
