MANGALURU: Devotees damaged several vehicles by toppling them to make way for the car (rath) during the Bappanadu Sri Durgaparameshwari temple fair recently. The action has drawn severe criticism after videos were shared on social media.
The devotees toppled vehicles including a car, scooter and an autorickshaw which were parked on the road where the rath was passing through. This was apparently to make way for those who were pulling the rath. Videos of the incident have since gone viral.
