BENGALURU: Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda’s wife Chennamma is undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital in the city for chest congestion.
Chennamma was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday night due to breathing difficulties and chest congestion. Speaking to Public TV, Manipal Hospital doctor Dr. Satyanarayana Mysore said, “Chennamma has a slight fluctuation in oxygen levels, so we have kept her in the ICU. The condition is not serious. There are all signs of recovery. We plan to discharge her in another two days”.
Further, he said, “Parliament member Dr C N Manjunath and Deve Gowda came last night and inquired about Chennamma’s health. H D Kumaraswamy also called and got updates. The breathing problem has now reduced”.
