BALLARI: Despite warning by KPCC president D K Shivakumar to Congress leaders not to speak on leadership issues, talk on the ‘next CM’ has come to the fore again. Savadatti MLA Vishwas Vaidya on Monday declared that Minister Satish Jarkiholi will become the chief minister in the coming days.

Speaking at a programme organised by the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) at Yaragatti, Vaidya said Satish Jarkiholi has established himself in North Karnataka as a nonpartisan leader. “As much as the rising of the Sun is a truth, Satish Jarkiholi becoming CM is also a truth”, he declared.

The Savadatti MLA was participating in a cultural programme organised as part of Kannada Rajyotsava and Deepavali celebration. He was also felicitated on his election.
