BENGALURU: Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara, who was admitted to a private hospital on Tuesday due to breathing issues and Ventricular tachycardia, will remain in hospital for one or two more day. He was also expected to undergo an angiogram.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Rizwan Arshad said after meeting Parameshwara, “The deputy CM is fine and doctors have advised more rest. He just has some small issues, there is no major issue or heart problem. After taking rest for another day or two, he will be discharged on doctor’s advice, I think. There is nothing to worry”.

Ministers H C Mahadevappa and M B Patil also inquired about Parameshwar’s health. They said that the treatment will continue for two more days and Parameshwara will be under doctors’ observation. “At present, his health is stable and heart beat also is normal. He will be discharged after two days”, they said.

Former minister K N Rajanna also visited Vaidehi hospital to enquire about Dr G Parameshwara health. Later, he told media persons, “I spoke to him and he is healthy and is fine, there is no problem. The Golden hour or golden time has helped. As it was nearby, he had come to the hospital. In 1994 too, something similar had happened, but he is comfortable now and may get discharged tomorrow or the day after”.

“If he had been discharged yesterday, lots of people will come to visit him and he will not get rest. Hence, he is taking rest in the hospital itself. I have spoken to the doctors also and they have said there is no problem”, Rajanna added.
