BENGALURU: Vijayalakshmi, the wife of actor Darshan, has not responded to police notices in connection with two cases. She was issued notices to record her statement in two cases, including alleged obscene message posted on social media and theft of cash from her house.
Despite receiving three notices, she has not responded to them and recorded her statement. The police are now considering filing a C-report, which indicates that the investigation is complete, but the accused is not cooperating. The police have collected evidence and recorded statements, but the investigation is stalled due to Vijayalakshmi’s non-cooperation.
Darshan was arrested in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case and is currently in judicial custody. Vijayalakshmi has been managing Darshan’s affairs and has been staying mostly in Mysuru while her son is studying in Bengaluru. Her manager Nagaraju, is the only one who has provided a statement in the case.
