BENGALURU: The Customs officials at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) have apprehended three passengers who were smuggling 86 gm of gold worth over Rs 5 lakh hidden in their passport covers.
The passengers had arrived from Kuala Lumpur and were detained during checks. The total value of the gold is estimated to be Rs 5,27,008 and the Customs officials were questioning the three passengers.
