SHIVAMOGGA: The police shot at and arrested a history sheeter after he tried to attack police personnel who had gone to arrest him in a triple murder case.
Shoaib allegedly tried to attack police sub-inspector Kumar and head constable Appanna, prompting the officer to shoot him in the leg. The incident occurred near Biranakere in Shivamogga Rural police limits on Monday.
Shoaib already faces two murder cases along with several other for criminal activities. Two months ago, the police had cautioned his family to advise him to stay away from criminal activities, but he continued his rowdy ways.
