BENGALURU: The tussle between producer M N Kumar and actor Kiccha Sudeep has reached another level. Sudeep appeared before a court regarding this matter and recorded his statement on Thursday. He had also submitted documents to the court with many photos.

Justice Venkanna Basappa Hosmani of the 13th ACMM Court, who heard Sudeep’s statement, reserved judgment on admission of the plea for Friday. The court has now admitted the case and ordered summons to producers M N Kumar and Suresh.

Kiccha Sudeep had earlier said that there would be no compromise from his side in the case. While recording Sudeep’s statement, the court asked whether he was ready to forgive the producer if he apologised and whether he would be a role model for others.

Responding to the question, Sudeep said that the producer has damaged his hard-earned name and fame over the years. Sudeep submitted that the producer thinks that if he can be made to bend, others would do too. With this, he clearly sent a message that he was not ready for a compromise.

However, producer M N Suresh supported the statement of M N Kumar. “Many people are asking me about this”, he said.

Actor Sudeep attended the court hearing along with lawyer Ajay Kadakol. Sudeep was seen with close friend Chandrachud and producer Jack Manju.

Sudeep’s lawyer Ajay said that the case was filed against Kumar and Suresh under Section 300.  They have presented the documents of conversations and photographs with Kumar and Suresh before the judge, he added.
