BIDAR: A couple was brutally murdered by slitting their throats right in front of their two-year-old child, at Jafarwadi village in Basavakalyan taluk. The victims were identified as Raju Kolasure (28) and Sharika Kolasure (24).
It is said that Raju had an illicit relationship with another woman of the same village and the murder was carried out by the woman’s relatives. The woman’s brother Dattatreya and another individual, Tukaram, surrendered before the Manthal police after committing the murder.
According to the police, Raju and his family had moved to Mumbai a few months ago. However, the woman’s relatives called them to the village for striking a compromise over Raju’s affair. The couple was then taken to the outskirts of the village and murdererd. The Manthal police have taken up further investigation.
