CHIKKAMAGALUR: A couple died while their one-year-old son survived with injuries in a serial accident involving a motorcycle, a car and a tipper truck near Hiregowja in the taluk on Tuesday night.
While Syed Asif (38) and his wife Majina (33) died on the spot, the child survived. They were on their way to Shivamogga from Chikkamagalur when the accident occurred.
The tipper driver fled the scene after the accident. The Sakharayapatna police have registered a case.
