Countrymade bomb explodes in man’s hand, leaves him critically injured

RAMANAGAR: A 29-year-old man was critically injured after a countrymade bomb went off in his hand at Neralhallidoddi village of Kanakapura taluk. The victim was unaware that the object was a country-made bomb.

Naushad Pasha (29), a native of Kolar, who was working at a rice mill in Neraledoddi village, was seriously injured. He was unaware of the countrymade bomb which lying in the backyard of the rice mill and it exploded when he picked it up.

Naushad Pasha sustained injuries in the hand and was admitted to a private hospital. The police found two more countymade explosives at the same place, and it is said they were used to hunt wild pigs. The Kodihalli police visited the spot and have taken up further investigation.
