DAVANAGERE: The propreitor of the Copper Age group of institutions, Sharat G N (34) committed suicide by hanging at his house at SS Layout here on Saturday when no one was around. However, the reason for this to take the extreme step was not immediately known.
Sharat ran the Copper Age study circle for competitive exams. The LinkedIn bio says it’s is the first institute in Davanagere to start a crash course-based approach in competitive exams and has branches in Dharwad and Vijayanagara.
Of late, Sharat had shown some political inclination and had identified himself with the Congress. He is survived by his parents and sister. The Vidyanagar police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
