MYSURU: A day after the Congress’ victory in the Assembly election, some Congress leaders cleaned the road, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow, with cow dung and water on Sunday.
The Congress leaders cleaned the Raja Marg in Mysuru to poke fun at Prime Minister Modi. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had organised a grand roadshow on the road as part of the election campaign.
Local Congress leader Kamsale Ravi said, “Modi conducting the roadshow on the Raja Marga was a big mistake. This is an insult to the Mysore Royal family. No other processions were held here except for the Ambari procession during the Mysuru Dasara. But the BJP, which claims to be a Hindutva party, conducted a roadshow her. It is an insult to the Nada Habba. That is why the BJP lost in the state”.
