CHAMARAJANAGAR: A local Congress leader survived a murderous attack on him at Honganur village in the taluk. The victim, identified as ‘Long’ Mahadeva, is now recovering in hospital.
Mahadeva was contacted on the phone to talk and called to a particular location to discuss a property issue on Thursday. The miscreants then threw chili powder in his eyes and stabbed him in the face and neck with a knife and fled.
