MATHURA: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at Banke Bihari Temple in Mathura on Wednesday and also attended several programs.
Banke Bihari Temple, located in Vrindavan, Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, is one of the holiest places of worship for Hindus and is believed to be the birth place of Lord Krishna.
Earlier in the day, CM Yogi also flagged off the golf carts operated for the darshan of Banke Bihari Temple and Govardhan Parikrama. It will bring the traffic system back on track in Vrindavan and Govardhan, adding to the convenience of devotees. These golf carts have been purchased by Uttar Pradesh’s ‘Brij Teerth Vikas Parishad’.
The chief minister also participated in the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Mahotsav Fair’ organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, in his native place Farah, Mathura.
Later CM Yogi also visited an exhibition of indigenous products.
Uttar Pradesh CM also took part in the Laghu Bharti State Entrepreneur Conference held in Agra where several entrepreneurs were honored on the occasion. (ANI)
