Class 6 student dies of ‘heart attack’ in Koppa; parents, teachers shocked

MADIKERI: A Class 6 student died in a hospital after he suffered a heart atatck in Kudumangaluru village in Kushalanagar taluk late on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Keerthan (12). On Saturday night, Keerthan screamed twice in his sleep because of chest pain. Immediately, his parents took him to a hospital in Kushalanagar, where he was declared dead.

Keerthan (12), died after he suffered a heart attack in his sleep.

Keerthan was a student of Bharath Matha School at Koppa near Kushalanagar. The boy’s parents, family members, teachers and friends are shocked by his sudden death.

Cases of heart attacks among the young generation are becoming more common in India, and doctors are concerned about the recent trend.
