Class 5, 8 exams to begin from March 27 after high court nod

BENGALURU: Following the Karnataka High Court’s nod to conduct public exams for Classes 5 and 8 on Wednesday, the Education Department on Thursday released the timetables for the conduct of the exams in the 2022-2023 academic year.

The new timetable has been published by the Karnataka School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council, and it has been scheduled as per the order of the High Court. The examination for Class 5 will be held from March 27 to March 30 while the examination for Class 8 will be held from March 27 to April 1. The results will be communicated to the students individually to maintain confidentiality and the evaluation will be done at the school level.

Class 5 exam timetable is as follows:

March 27 – First language

March 28 – Second Language

March 29 – Environmental Studies

March 30 – Mathematics

Class 8 exam timetable as follows:

March 27 – First language

March 28 – Second Language

March 29 – Third language

March 30 – Mathematics

March 31 – Science

April 1 – Social Science
