CHIKKABALLAPUR: The popular tourist spot on Bengaluru’s outskirts, Nandi Hills, will now be open to visitors from 5.30 am itself for those who want to get a view of the sunrise.

Chikkaballapur Deputy Commissioner Nagaraju passed the order on November 9, after a meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary on October 14 wherein ways to improve the tourist spot were discussed.

The order was issued by the Chikkaballapur deputy commissioner.

So far, visitors were allowed only after 6 am. Now, the hill station will be open half an hour earlier. The decision to open up Nandi Hills half a hour early was taken as a lot of tourists come to view the sunrise, the DC noted.

Nandi Hills is a popular tourists destination, located 65 km away from Bengaluru.
