Cars damaged due to tree fall at Pandavapura village

A brand new car was among those damaged.

MANDYA: At least five cars were damaged after a huge tree suddenly came crashing down on them at Dinka village in Pandavapura taluk on Monday. The cars belonged to devotees who had gone to visit the Shakti Devi temple in the village.

People standing around had a lucky escape as they ran from the spot when they heard tree cracking before falling down. A brand new car, which was brought for puja, was among those which were damaged. The incident occurred in Pandavapura police limits.
