Responding to this, @WhitefieldWard posted, “Disturbing to see the recklessness and rash behaviour on roads by supposedly educated people. Strict detection and enforcement required. @alokkumar6994 pls install AI cameras on all streets to catch offenders. @dcpwhitefield pls punish road rage offenders severely. @DgpKarnataka”.
Additional Director General of Police (Traffic and Road Safety) Alok Kumar, responding to the post, said, “Appropriate action will be taken soon”. Hours later, the Whitefield traffic police (@wftrps) posted, “FIR regarding the complaint is registered and vehicle seized”. ADGP Alok Kumar responded saying, “Well done @DCPTrEastBCP @wftrps. Appreciate quick action”.
