CHIKKAMAGALUR: A car owner assaulted four employees of a petrol bunk, including the manager, with a cricket bat after an attendant told him that his work hours were up and some other attendant would dispense petrol.
The incident occurred at a Nayara petrol bunk at Jannapura in Mudigere taluk and was captured on mobile phones.
Madhu Hurudi drove into the petrol bunk when one of the attendants was winding up for the day after work. The attendant told the car owner that another woman attendant would attend to him.
Angered by the response, Madhu picked a fight with the petrol bunk staff, pulled out a cricket bat from his car and chased around the staff, assaulting them. A case has been registered against Madhu at the Gonibeedu police station.
