MANGALURU: An employee of Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers (MCF) was seriously injured after his car was completely crushed in a serial accident at Jeppinamogaru on the national highway on Saturday afternoon.
In CCTV camera footage that is available, a truck can be seen rearending a car which had stopped to allow traffic to move. Another car which was behind the truck comes to a stop due to the accident, but is rammed from behind by a speeding Kerala road transport corporation bus.
The second car was completely crumpled between the truck and the bus. The badly injured car driver was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment. The Mangaluru South traffic police visited the spot and have registered a case.
