KALABURAGI: Despite the police warning against using mobile phones while driving and the related fines, a Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) bus driver was filmed talking continuously for hours on his phone even as he was driving.
Driver Nagendrappa plies the bus (KA 32 F 2169) between Kalaburagi and Afzalpur and is reportedly on his phone for long durations even as he drives the bus with one hand while holding the phone in the other. Passengers hold on to dear life as he navigates the road amidst traffic.
Many passengers have complained that this is a daily affair and demanded the KKRTC and police authorities to take strict action against the errant bus driver.
