Bus crew return bag containing Rs 15 lakh worth of gold left behind to owner

KOPPAL: A NWKRTC bus crew returned gold jewellery worth Rs 15 lakh to the owner who had left it behind. They were felicitated by the staff at the Koppal depot for their honest gesture.

Dinesh, the owner of Tulasi Farm in Koppal, had left behind a bag containing the gold ornaments on a bus plying between Koppal and Pimpri in Maharashtra when he got off in Pune.

Bus driver Charalingappa and conductor Sanganagouda Patil, who noticed the bag containing the gold ornaments, ensured that it was returned to the rightful owner.
