BENGALURU: Bureaucrat-turned-actor K Shivaram is in critical condition. It is reported that he was admitted to a private hospital due to health issues and has been undergoing treatment for many days.
According to the sources, he is being treated at HCG Hospital and his condition is deteriorating. He is being treated with ventilator support at the intensive care unit.
Shivaram was the first IAS officer who cleared the exam in Kannada. He has acted as a hero in many films, including ‘Baa Nalle Maduchandrake’ and has worked in the Kannada film industry for six decades. He has served in various capacities in several districts, including Bengaluru, Vijayapura, Davanagere and Koppal. After his retirement as an IAS officer, Shivaram ventured into politics in 2013.
He joined the Kannada film industry in 1993 and played lead roles in many films, including ‘Baa Nalle Madhuchandrike’ and ‘Vasanta Kavya’. He played the villain in ‘Sangliana-3’. Shivaram has acted in more than ten movies and his daughter is married to actor Pradeep.
K Shivaram is an Sandalwood actor, writer, director and producer who has worked in the Kannada film industry for six decades. He made his acting debut in ‘Beratha Jeeva’ (1965). Since then, he has acted in several movies including ‘Sharapanjara’, ‘Shubha Mangala’, ‘Nagarahole’, ‘Guru Shishyaru’, ‘Sangliyana Part-3’, ‘Huccha’, ‘O Prema Devathe’ and others.
