UDUPI: A second-year BSc student committed suicide by jumping of the college building in Manipal on Friday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Satyam Suman (20), hailing from Bihar.
Suman jumped off the Allied Health department building of MAHE and it is suspected that he ended his life due to fear of exams. However, the exact motive has not been established.
In CCTV footage from inside the building, people can be seen running in panic after Suman fell to the ground. The body was sent to the KMC hospital for post-mortem examination and the Manipal police have registered a case.
