BENGALURU: After the wheel of a motorcycle got stuck in iron gratings of a drainage near Tagore Circle in Basavanagudi recently, a similar problem has arisen near the Navarang underpass, posing a danger to vehicles users.

As a temporary measure, police have set up barricades on the road to prevent speeding vehicles from going over the grating, but this too can pose a danger at night and slow down traffic during peak hours.

Two-wheeler riders are especially at risk as they can fall if they hit the broken grating. The wheels of a bike can also get caught in between.

Road users have urged the Bruhat Bengaluru Nagara Palike (BBMP) to take note of the issue and fix before any before any other major accident occurs.
